Essel Cellulose and Paper Industry and Trade Inc., which entered the sector in 2011 with the aim of producing environmentally and economically sustainable tissue paper products that meet consumer expectations in terms of value and quality, has established itself among Türkiye’s leading paper manufacturers through its investments, advanced technologies, and expert workforce.

Essel carries out its production at four separate facilities located in Zonguldak/Çaycuma in northern Türkiye and Osmaniye in southern Türkiye, with a professional team of 500 employees and advanced, fully automated production lines.

Focused on offering environmentally friendly products that contribute to both the well-being of our planet and human health, Essel manufactures all of its products using cellulose sourced from certified forests. In line with its commitment to protecting nature and minimizing carbon emissions, the company has also commissioned treatment and recycling facilities that support zero-waste production.

With its continuously growing and highly skilled team, Essel exports to 60 countries across five continents. The company manufactures approximately 600 different products in various grammages, including toilet paper, paper towels, boxed and pocket tissues, napkins, dispenser napkins, dispenser towels, and Z-fold towels, supplying both domestic and international markets.

Within this scope, in 2021, a tissue paper machine manufactured by the Italian company Toscotec—one of the widest and highest-capacity tissue paper machines in Türkiye and Europe—was commissioned at Essel’s Osmaniye facility. As a result of this development, as of the first quarter of 2025, Essel has reached an annual parent reel production capacity of 130,000 tons and a finished product capacity of 1,500,000 cases per month (18,000,000 cases per year), supported by Türkiye’s largest pulp inventory.
